Well, it's getting close!! We are getting very excited! Trying to get everything done. There's so much to do! It's been a little challenging trying to pack since we are not able to stay at our house because of the kitchen fire, but it will come together, I'm sure. Insurance finally came, it only took them 4 days. I don't see how we are going to be able to clean up before we leave, but it will be there when we get home. I just have one main thing on my mind right now, and that's going to get my baby from China! We will actually meet Toryn on Monday, Dec. 22. I'm so excited about having him with us for Christmas. He is 2 1/2 and has never heard the real reason for Christmas, which is very sad. I can't wait to tell him the story of Jesus on this Christmas day.
Ok, I have a favor for everyone to do. I want YOU ALL to leave us a comment. We are already getting homesick, and I think this will be fun and help us not to get so homesick. I can't wait until you all are on your way, and we can follow along on your journey. You all are going to have the trip of a lifetime. Hopefully haveing the kids with you all will ease Toryn's transition a bit.
My travel advice - Soak it all in- it will pass in a blur. See and do all that you can so you have no regrets once you get home. Go with the flow. Coley's advice - don't eat anything with a face ( you will see why he says that soon enough!).
Have a fabulous time. You will be in our prayers. I am so glad you all will be a family of 5 for Christmas.

So, Mark, Hudson and I (for sure) are totally planning on heading down to Dallas. We don't want to tire you out so if it is too late for dinner that is fine but we are up for whatever. I do know you will be CRAVING American food about day 3 so it will be your last chance! CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU!!!

Knowing you will tell him about Jesus' birth this Christmas is such a beautiful picture of why international adoption is called "Missions in reverse." ahhh...i know i've told you guys like a million times, but i'm SOOOO EXCITED!!!! i'm excited that you all get to go to China, I'm excited that you get to meet Toryn before Christmas and share such a special day with him, and I'm VERY excited that you get to bring him home for us all to love on!
